IL-2 Continues, Thanks for all the Support!

I keep waiting for Chris to balloon into some sort of wierd circus freak, but so far nada.  He’s red and fatigued, and has a resting heart rate of 130, but he looks normal (well, normal for Chris). We’ve finished dose 7 and that means we’re halfway through.

On another note, as some of you may know, Washington, D.C. is getting socked with a blizzard unlike any in history.  And that means that my parents are getting hit with what we like to call HDJB — high dose Josie Battle.  At 16 months, she’s a full fledged weapon of mass destruction.  NIH considered using her to battle cancer, but she was simply too toxic.  She’s cute, but toxic – like one of those little poison dart frogs.

And for that reason — we want to take this opportunity to extend a very special thank you to all of you who have reached out to help my folks.  So many of you have called to check in, offered to help with the kids and brought meals to the house.  And some very kind neighbor went out in the howling storm today and shoveled the walk and cleared off the car.  There will never be enough words — but please know how grateful we are.
